Does anything leave our building or the EU?

Accepted Answer

No. The AI model itself never calls out, it doesn't send anything to us or to a cloud AI provider. It does connect to your own systems, like your DMS or email, because that's how it does useful work, but that traffic never leaves your network either. Nothing sits with a US provider, so the CLOUD Act has nothing to reach. This is the closed environment the Dutch and Belgian bars expect for client work.

Is our data ever used to train a model?

Accepted Answer

Never. Your files are not used to train our models or anyone else's. The models arrive already trained and run read-only on your data; we keep no copies and have no path to extract your data for training. You can confirm this by inspecting the network: there is nothing outbound to send.

Question 3

Does professional privilege stay intact?

Accepted Answer

Yes, because the work never leaves your control. For Dutch firms the system keeps client data inside the confidentiality the Advocatenwet requires; in Germany it keeps you on the right side of §203 StGB and §43e BRAO, since no third party, including us, can access the files. There's no processor to add to a register and no cross-border transfer to justify.

Will it connect to our existing systems?

Accepted Answer

Yes. It connects to your document management system, email and accounting software through read or read-write connectors you approve, Windows file shares, SharePoint, common DMS and SQL databases. It's part of how you already work, not an isolated box in the corner. We map the connectors on the scoping call before anything is built.

What happens to us if Leyoda, a small vendor, goes away?

Accepted Answer

Depends how you got the hardware. Bought it outright? It's yours, our disappearing changes nothing about the machine already in your office. Still paying it off under a monthly arrangement? That's different: like any financed equipment, what happens next depends on the terms, and we walk you through those before you sign, not after. Either way, what you'd actually lose is the engineering: the tuning, fixes and new workflows we keep building as your systems change. That relationship, not the box, is why firms stay.
